‘Talk about taking something from the grave to the groove. I grew up with lace doilies at the bottom of my cedar chest because they belonged to a deceased relative, smelled like moth balls, were beautiful and nostalgic, but I didn’t want them on display in my home. Thanks to Pinterest and pins from DYI enthusiasts, I have seen the light. Doilies are being sewn together or appliqued onto fabric to create lovely window treatments, mobiles, shower curtains and more. Check these out.
